1:30 – 4:30 pm Orientation for International Students (all new international students must attend one of the five sessions listed), location to be announced. Bring originals and photocopies of I-20, passport, I-94 card.

Friday, 8/19
1 - 2 pm Overview of graduate assistant health insurance options, 434 Taylor Hall
Barbara Forrest and Terri Wipperfurth will simplify the process; all students with RAships or fellowships should attend.
Tuesday, 8/23 Math Economics (Econ 703) summer boot camp begins and runs through September 2. Lectures daily 9-noon, followed by afternoon discussion sections. Required for all students enrolling in Econ 703; class continues through Oct. 12.
Wednesday, 8/24
10 – 12 am New Graduate Assistant Benefits Seminar (all RAs and Fellows should attend one of these sessions), Room 1106/1108, 21 N. Park St. Bring your benefits packet (pick up from Terri Wipperfurth, 430 Taylor Hall).

12:30 – 6:30 pm Graduate School Welcome and Orientation, Memorial Union.
2 pm All new AAE graduate students meet with their academic advisors to discuss course selection, etc. Meet in the advisor's office.
3 - 5 pm AAE Welcome Reception for New Students and Faculty, Parsons-Penn Room, 115 Taylor Hall.
Graduate Assistant health insurance forms are due to Terri Wipperfurth before 4:30.
