Faculty members in the environmental and natural resources field conduct research on a variety of issues, with a particular strength in the integration of economics and ecology. Faculty collaborate in interdisciplinary research with wildlife ecologists, limnologists, landscape ecologists, foresters, and geographers. All research projects have a strong empirical emphasis with a focus on policy implications. In addition, there are several projects at the interface of resource and development economics.
