Please note: VPN connections can only be used with MacOS 10.2 or later.

1. Start Internet Connect
   
   
   
   
2. (if you have already setup AAEvpn, you can skip to Step #7). Click VPN
3. Select PPTP
4. Fill out the form using the information below. Be sure to use your AAE username/password, NOT YOUR UW-MADISON NETID/PASSWORD
   
   
   
   
5. Click OK
6. Click Connect.
   
   
   
   
7. Now, we will connect to the server. Click on the Desktop, so that the Finder is active.
8. Go-->Connect To Server
9. Type in:
   1. AAE Files: smb://sagola.aae.wisc.edu/<sharename> (do not use "<" or ">")
   2. If you are not sure what the <sharename> is, you can simply leave it off and select the share from a dropdownlist present to you after you click connect
      
      
      
      
10. Use your AAE username/password to connect to the server, NOT YOUR UW-MADISON NETID/PASSWORD
    
    
    
    
11. That's it. When you are finished, you will need to disconnect VPN.
