Classify Your Printing Charges (Faculty)(TechDoc #3190)

You can classify your print jobs that are sent to the public AAE printers. The three classifications are research, instruction, and extension. By classifying your print jobs, you will receive an itemized HECC bill that will indicate totals for each category. To Classify Print Charges
  1. Log into myAAE (http://my.aae.wisc.edu/)
  2. In the Other section, click on "Printing Charges".

     Please Note: You will see what your default billing category is. You can change the default to either research, instruction or extension. All new print jobs are categorized by this default category. Printing Defaults

  3. The printing charges summary will automatically select the current billing quarter. If you wish to select a different date range, click "View Other Dates".
  4. Once you have the date range you wish, click on "Click for more details" under the summary box.
  5. You can either:
    • Click the circles next to individual print jobs, to classify them as either Research (R), Instruction (I), or Extension (E)


      OR


    • Click the R, I, or E buttons at the top, to re-classify all LISTED entries as either Research (R), Instruction (I), or Extension (E).

That's it. Simply clicking the buttons or circles automatically save your changes.
