You need to download and install the Remote Desktop Client from here. After installation:

1. Run Start-->Programs-->Accessories-->Communications-->Remote Desktop Client

FOR FIRST TIME ONLY:

1. Type remote.aae.wisc.edu into the computer box.
2. Click Options.
3. Click the Local Resources tab
4. Put a check next to "Disk Drives".

   

Click CONNECT.

You're in. You can access the drives on your local computer through My Computer, as well as all network drives and printers.
