To connect to WiscVPN:

1. Locate the WiscVPN Client icon (usually in the Applications folder) and double-click it to start the client.

2. Highlight the connection entry you wish to use (by default the WiscVPN connection is highlighted) and click Connect in the tool bar.

   

3. Enter your NetID and password in the authentication box. Click OK.

   

4. When you have connected successfully to the VPN service, you will get a welcome screen. Click Continue.

   
   

5. In the Finder window, select Go-->Connect to Server.
6. Type in:

   For AAE Files: smb://vidar.aae.wisc.edu

   For PATS files: smb://pats1.aae.wisc.edu and hit Enter.
   
   

7. Click Connect

To disconnect, click the Disconnect button on the toolbar.
