Welcome!

I am a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics at UW-Madison. My research interests are in development economics (in particular, agricultural insurance, microfinance, and poverty), labor economics (in particular, migration), and experimental economics. A native of Perú, after completing high school I left my father's hometown to attend the Universidad del Pacífico in Lima, where I earned a B.Sc. in Economics. I begun my research experience at the Centro de Investigación de la Universidad del Pacífico (CIUP). Then I worked at the Centro Peruano de Estudios Sociales (CEPES) and the Instituto de Estudios Peruanos (IEP) before starting my graduate studies.
