I am an applied economist working on issues in trade, energy and environmental economics. My methodological focus involves the use of mathematical programming methods to better understand economic policy choices. Before joining the UW Madison faculty I held faculty appointments at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, the University of Colorado Boulder, and the University of Western Ontario.
