My interdisciplinary research examines theoretical foundations and different techniques for modeling and numerically solving constrained optimization models in the context of forest economics and management, international trade of forest products, and issues related to bioenergy systems.
In addition I am an Associate Editor of Forest Science, an Affiliate Faculty member with the Center for Climatic Research at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and an Adjunct Researcher with the Resource Economics and Policy Analysis group at the University of Victoria.
