Research Interests
My research program focuses on a number of topics in environmental and natural resource economics. Much of this work stresses valuation of environmental assets. Topics include nonpoint source water pollution, recreational and commercial fisheries, and wildlife. The other major thrust centers on how sustainability goals can be integrated into economics. Some of this work is theoretical, but with applications to Lake Superior ecosystems.
