- Tewodaj Mogues
Tewodaj Mogues is a Research Fellow with the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), Division of Development Strategy and Governance (DSG), in Washington, DC.
She joined the DSG division in February 2005, and undertakes research on poverty reduction, local public finance and decentralization, social capital and household assets, and polarization. Much of her work focuses on Ethiopia, Ghana, and Nigeria.
Dr. Mogues received her Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Kalamazoo College (1995), and her Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from University of Wisconsin-Madison (2005). She was born in Ethiopia and is a German citizen.
